Taiwan's barley consumption is set to reach 10,000 metric tons by 2026, a decrease of 1.9% year-on-year. Since 2017, demand for the grain has grown by an average of 16.3% annually. In 2021, Taiwan was the 44th largest consumer of barley, with Switzerland overtaking them with 11,000 metric tons. Morocco, India, and Algeria followed as the second, third, and fourth largest consumers, respectively.
