Zimbabwe's consumption of barley is expected to remain at 2,000 metric tons between 2021 and 2026, after having declined by 12.6% annually since 2017. In 2021, Zimbabwe was ranked 67th, while Croatia came in at number 2 with the same consumption level. Morocco, India and Algeria came in at numbers 2, 3 and 4 respectively. Barley production in Zimbabwe is predicted to rise by 1% each year to 61,870 metric tons by 2026, up 1.6% since 1966. The country was ranked 70th in 2021, behind Jordan at 58,220 metric tons. France, Germany and Canada occupied spots 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
