Macedonian barley production is set to reach 140,000 metric tons by 2026. This marks a 0.6% year-on-year growth since 2021, when production reached 135,500 metric tons. Since 1997, production has dropped by 1.3% year-on-year. In 2021, Macedonia was ranked 58th in terms of barley production, behind Thailand, which reached 135,500 metric tons. France, Germany and Canada followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
