Czech barley consumption is expected to stay steady at 4 thousand metric tons through 2026. Since 2017, it has remained constant, placing the country at 56th in the ranking for 2021. Trinidad and Tobago came first with the same amount, while Morocco, India and Algeria were respectively placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Czech barley production, on the other hand, is predicted to decrease 0.9% year-on-year, from 1.65 million metric tons in 2021 to 1.56 million metric tons in 2026. This is a marked contrast to 1998, when it had fallen 2.2% year-on-year. For 2021, India took the top spot with 1.65 million metric tons, followed by France, Germany and Canada.
