In 2021, Lebanon ranked 75th in the world for production, with Luxembourg coming in just ahead at 32,400 metric tons. France, Germany and Canada ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. In 2018, Lebanon's barley consumption was around 2,000 metric tons, down from the year prior. The country ranked 67th in the world that year, with Kenya surpassing it at 2,000 metric tons. Morocco, India and Algeria ranked second, third and fourth in that same ranking.
