Barley production in Montenegro is set to dip 1.4% annually over the next five years. Last year, the country recorded 902.35 metric tons, down 1.7% from the 2011 level. At that time, Montenegro was the 95th largest producer. The Democratic Republic of the Congo has since overtaken it, producing 979 metric tons in 2021. France, Germany and Canada were the second, third and fourth largest producers, respectively.
