Finnish bauxite exports are expected to grow by 2% annually to reach nearly 154,000 metric tons by 2026. Since 2005, Finnish bauxite exports have risen 4.6% each year. In 2021, Finland was the 25th largest bauxite exporter, with Bulgaria taking the lead at 136,690 metric tons. Ireland, the Netherlands and France were the next three largest exporters. Meanwhile, Finnish bauxite imports are forecast to increase 0.6% annually to 157,280 metric tons by 2026. Since 2005, Finnish demand for bauxite has dropped 1.2% annually. In 2021, Finland was 27th in the global rankings for bauxite imports, with Serbia topping the list at 152,010 metric tons. Spain, Ireland and France followed.
