Rwandan sugar production is set to reach around 11,000 metric tons by 2026, growing at an average of 1% year on year. Since 1973, Rwandan supply has increased by an average of 4.4% year on year, however in 2021, the Central African Republic overtook Rwanda, producing 10,570 metric tons. The top four producers of sugar are Brazil, Thailand, China and Rwanda.
