Colombian sugar production is projected to reach 2.3 million metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 0.2% from 2021 levels. Since 1966, Colombia's production has grown by an average of 2.1% annually. In 2021, Colombia was the 15th largest producer of sugar with 2.3 million metric tons. Poland overtook Colombia at the same time to become the 14th largest producer. Brazil, Thailand and China ranked second, third and fourth respectively in 2021.
