Jamaica's sugar production is set to fall by 10.8% by 2026, according to a new report. This is compared to a 5.7% year-on-year decrease since 1966. In 2021, Jamaica was the 80th largest producer of sugar with 59,000 metric tons. Angola was number one with the same amount. Brazil, Thailand and China followed at numbers two, three and four respectively.
