France, Italy and Poland were the second, third and fourth largest consumers in the world. Greek sugar production plummeted by 47.5% in 2021, to 7,860 metric tons from 14,980 metric tons in 2020. This is a 27% decline from 1966. Greece was the 103rd largest producer in the world, with Armenia ahead of them at 7,860 metric tons. Brazil, Thailand and China are ranked second, third and fourth.
