Croatia's sugar production is set to climb over the next five years. In 2021, the country reached 292,460 metric tons — enough to put them at number 51 in the rankings. Mauritius came in ahead of Croatia with 323,230 metric tons. Brazil, Thailand and China followed behind as numbers two, three and four. Since 1997, the country has seen an average yearly growth of 3.2%. This is set to continue, with Croatian production projected to reach 323,230 metric tons by 2026.
