Ukraine's sugar production is expected to remain the same throughout the next five years, according to forecasts. From 2021 to 2026, the yearly output is predicted to stay at 1.9 million metric tons. Since 1997, Ukrainian sugar production has decreased by less than 1%. In 2021, the country ranked 19th in the world, with the Philippines overtaking it at 1.9 million metric tons. Brazil, Thailand and China were the top three producers, in that order.
