This represents an increase from approximately 11.3 million TEUs in 2023, marking an average annual growth rate of 2%. Since 2005, Thai demand for container traffic has consistently grown at an average rate of 1.7% per year. In the global rankings for 2023, Thailand secured the 16th position, with Italy just ahead, also recording around 11.3 million TEUs. Leading the list, Slovenia, the United States, and Singapore claimed the second, third, and fourth spots, respectively.
