Peruvian sheep imports are projected to decline by 6.5% year on year to reach $16.3 billion by 2026. This follows a 19% decrease since 1999. Peruvian sheep imports ranked 68th in 2021, with Macedonia coming in ahead at $24.2 billion. Qatar, Kuwait and Israel came in at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Since 2008, Peruvian supply has dropped by 30.4% year on year.
