Meanwhile, France was the ninth biggest exporter of sheep, Namibia overtaking them at $28 million. Since 1999, French demand for sheep imports has fallen by an average of 10.1% year on year. Similarly, their supply of sheep exports has fallen by 4.4% year on year. Qatar, Kuwait, Israel, Spain, Australia and Jordan respectively were the countries to rank 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 2nd, 3rd and 4th in this ranking. By 2026, France is expected to reach $7.1 million in sheep imports, a 13.7% decrease from 2021. Similarly, their exports are expected to reach $21.2 million, a 4.7% decrease from 2021.
