Fish production in Zimbabwe is projected to reach 13,240 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 2.4% on the 2021 figure of 11,330 metric tons. The country has experienced an average growth rate of 2.4% since 1977, and in 2021 was ranked 71st in the world, with 71,289,000 metric tons. Indonesia, India and Vietnam were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Zimbabwean fish consumption is set to reach 19,840 metric tons by 2026, up 0.8% from 2021's 18,690 metric tons. Since 2017, the country has seen a decrease of 0.1% year on year.
