On the consumption front, Germany is set to reach nearly 227,000 metric tons by 2028, rising from about 218,000 metric tons in 2023. This represents a compound annual growth rate of 0.7%. Since 2019, German demand for fish has been increasing at an annual rate of 1.2%.
