Exports of Tanzanian shrimp are set to decrease by 13.2% year on year, on average, by 2026, from 245,680 kilograms in 2021. Since 2002, the country's supply has dropped 12.6% annually. In 2021, Tanzanian shrimp exports ranked 57th, with Poland taking the top spot at 245,680 kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina, and Indonesia followed in second, third, and fourth place, respectively. Import of Tanzanian shrimp surged 4,400% in 2018, to 450 kilograms, compared to just 10 kilograms in 2017. Since 2006, demand for Tanzanian shrimp has decreased 12.7% each year.
