The country ranked 12th in 2021, with Russia taking the lead at 37.5 million kilograms. China, Spain and Japan followed in 2nd, 3rd and 4th place respectively. German shrimp exports are expected to reach 10.3 million kilograms by 2026, growing at a rate of 1.3% each year. Since 1996, German supply has increased by 0.4% annually. In 2021, the country was 25th in the rankings, with Pakistan in first place at 9.5 million kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia took the next three spots.
