Meanwhile, British imports of shrimps are expected to increase by 0.6% year on year on average, reaching 46.4 million kilograms by 2026. This is up from 44.6 million kilograms in 2021 and a 1.1% increase since 1998. In 2021, the Netherlands was the top importer with 44.6 million kilograms, followed by China, Spain and Japan.
