Barbadian shrimp imports are set to reach 1.2 million kilograms by 2026, according to a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 3.7%. Since 2002, Barbadian demand has increased by 40%. The country was ranked 56th in 2021, with Latvia ahead at 930,450 kilograms. China, Spain, and Japan were ranked second, third, and fourth. Barbadian shrimp exports also saw a massive increase in 2020, jumping 760% to 43 kilograms, compared to 2016's 5 kilograms.
