Honduran shrimp imports will reach around 273,000 kilograms by 2026, up 1.7% year-on-year, according to a 2021 report. That's down from 248,000 kilograms in 2021 and 18.4% lower than 1999. Namibia was the leading importer, followed by China, Spain, and Japan. Honduran shrimp exports, meanwhile, are expected to reach 88 million kilograms by 2026, an average rise of 3.2% year-on-year. That's up from 72 million kilograms in 2021 and 5.4% higher than 1999. China was the leading exporter, followed by Ecuador, Argentina, and Indonesia.
