In 2021, Cameroon ranked number 77, Vietnam overtook at 1,610 Kilograms. United States, South Africa and Nigeria respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Cameroonian shrimp export is set to reach 220,000 kilograms by 2026. This is a 4.8% year-on-year average rise since 2000, when the supply was just 35,000 kilograms. In 2021, Cameroon ranked 61st, overtaken by Romania with 164,260 kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia were the top three countries in the ranking. On the other hand, Cameroonian shrimp import fell by 32% from 2016 to 2017, when it totalled 1,100 kilograms. Since 2000, the demand has jumped 7.9% year-on-year. In 2021, Cameroon was 77th, with Vietnam in the lead at 1,610 kilograms. The United States, South Africa and Nigeria held the next three places in the ranking.
