Zimbabwe's shrimp imports are set to drop 1.7% year on year, on average, to 26,170 kilograms by 2026. Demand has been decreasing since 2006 at an annual rate of 6.5%. In 2021, Zimbabwe ranked 105th for shrimp imports, lagging behind Sri Lanka's 28,900 kilograms. China, Spain and Japan placed second, third and fourth respectively.
