Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia were 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. South African shrimp imports will reach 7.1 million kilograms by 2026, up a slight 0.4% year on year. Colombia was in the lead at 6.9 million kilograms in 2021, with China, Spain and Japan second, third and fourth respectively. Since 2005, South African demand has fallen 1.8% year on year.
