In 2021, the UK topped the rankings with 5.1 million kilos, followed by Ecuador, Argentina, and Indonesia. Australian shrimp imports are expected to drop 0.7% to 18.9 million kilos by 2026. This follows a 4.2% year-on-year decrease since 1993. Last year, Portugal was the leading supplier with 19.7 million kilos. China, Spain, and Japan were runners up.
