In 2021, the Netherlands ranked 8th in this category, with South Korea taking the lead at 47.7 million kilograms. China, Spain and Japan occupied the next three positions. Similarly, Dutch shrimp exports are expected to reach 35.7 million kilograms by 2026, growing at an average rate of 1.4% year on year. This marks a 7.6% increase since 1997. Last year, the Netherlands ranked 15th, with Mexico coming in at 32.8 million kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia followed in that order.
