Polish import and export of shrimp is on the rise. In 2021, the country imported 6,656,700 kilograms, an 8.8% increase year-on-year since 1999. Chile was the leading importer, followed by China, Spain and Japan. Exports of Polish shrimp have also seen growth over the past two decades, reaching 505,760 kilograms in 2021. This was a 22.9% increase year-on-year since 2000. Sweden was the top exporter, with Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia in the next three spots.
