Slovak shrimp imports are projected to decrease by 19.1% year-on-year on average, reaching 18,120 kilograms by 2026. This figure is down 4.7% since 1999. In 2021, Slovakia ranked 96th, with Kyrgyzstan ahead of them at 58,680 kilograms. China, Spain and Japan were the second, third, and fourth-ranked countries respectively. Slovak shrimp exports, on the other hand, are expected to grow 3.5% year-on-year until 2026, reaching 41,200 kilograms. Since 2014, Slovak supply has increased by 19.6% year-on-year. In 2021, Slovakia ranked 73rd, with Switzerland overtaking them at 33,060 kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia occupied the second, third and fourth positions respectively.
