Dane imports of shrimp are predicted to decline by 2.8% a year on average and reach 36 million kilograms by 2026. This is down from 42.2 million kilograms in 2021, when the country was ranked 10th in the world. The UK topped the rankings with 42.2 million kilograms. China, Spain and Japan came in second, third and fourth respectively. Exports of shrimp from Dane are expected to fall by 1% annually and reach 51.4 million kilograms by 2026. This is down from 54.5 million kilograms in 2021, when the country was ranked eighth in the world. Thailand was in first place with 54.5 million kilograms, followed by Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia.
