Burmese imports of shrimp are expected to fall 5.1% annually to nearly 32,000 kilograms by 2026. Demand has been up 23.1% since 2015, with the country ranking 100th in 2021. Saint Lucia was ahead in the ranking at 43,090 kilograms. China, Spain, and Japan came in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Burmese exports of shrimp are predicted to increase 2.6% annually to almost 41 million kilograms by 2026. Supply has declined 9.1% since 2015, with Burma ranking 13th in 2021. Greenland topped the ranking at 34.9 million kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina, and Indonesia were second, third, and fourth, respectively.
