Singapore's shrimp import is expected to increase 1.6% annually, reaching 10,865,000 kilograms by 2026. This is up from 9,910,700 kilograms in 2021 when the country ranked 23rd. Malaysia was ahead at the time, while China, Spain and Japan were ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Singaporean shrimp exports are forecast to grow at a rate of 0.1% per year, to reach 1,248,400 kilograms by 2026. This is up from 1,238,500 kilograms in 2021 when Singapore placed 44th. Sri Lanka was ahead at the time, with Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia ranking second, third and fourth respectively. Since 1994, Singaporean supply has grown by 1.3% each year.
