In 2021, Jordan ranked 65th in the world, behind El Salvador's 568,240 kilograms. China, Spain and Japan followed in second, third and fourth place. Jordanian shrimp exports dropped dramatically in 2021, falling 64.3% to 206 kilograms from 576.65 kilograms in 2020. Since 2000, Jordanian supply has decreased by 41.5% year on year. In 2021, the country was 84th in the world, lagging behind Bermuda's 206 kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina, and Indonesia placed second, third, and fourth, respectively.
