In 2021, the country's imports of shrimp totaled 2,590,900 kilograms, representing a growth of 8.6% since 2002. Lebanon was placed 44th in the world ranking of shrimp imports, with Costa Rica having the highest imports of 2,590,900 kilograms. China, Spain, and Japan ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
