Aruban Shrimp Import is expected to rise in the coming years. By 2026, the total is forecast to reach 468,830 kilograms, an increase of 1.7% per year on average from 2021. Since 2014, Aruban demand has grown steadily at a rate of 2.8% annually. In 2021, the country ranked 70th in the world for shrimp imports, overtaking Albania at 422,700 kilograms. China, Spain and Japan took the second, third, and fourth spots respectively. Meanwhile, Aruban shrimp exports saw a dramatic growth between 2015 and 2016, rising from 5 to 20 kilograms.
