Bermuda's shrimp import is set to reach almost 160,000 kilos by 2026, according to a report. This is a 1.8% increase from 2021 when it reached 142,300 kilos. Since 2015, the demand for shrimp in Bermuda has grown by 4.7% year-on-year. In 2021, Bermuda ranked 86th in the global ranking, with Azerbaijan coming in at first place with 142,300 kilos. China, Spain and Japan followed respectively in second, third and fourth place. Meanwhile, Bermuda's shrimp export is set to reach 545.68 kilos by 2026, a 0.6% increase from 2021 when it reach 529.38 kilos. Since 2017, the supply of shrimp in Bermuda has grown 3.6% year-on-year. In 2021, Bermuda was ranked 83rd, with Bosnia and Herzegovina overtaking at 529.38 kilos. Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia ranked second, third and fourth respectively.
