Greenlander shrimp exports are projected to drop by 0.7% annually, from 34.8 million kilograms in 2021 to 33.5 million kilograms in 2026. The country was ranked 12th in 2021, with Spain taking the lead at 36.5 million kilograms. Ecuador, Argentina and Indonesia followed in second, third and fourth place respectively. Greenlander shrimp imports, however, have seen a more significant drop, plummeting by 30% from 16.8 million kilograms in 2017 to 11.8 million kilograms in 2018. Since 1999, Greenlander demand has decreased by nearly 20% year on year.
