Tanzanian cheese production is on the rise. This year, it's expected to reach 18,360 metric tons. That's a 1.9% increase from 2021's 16,430 metric tons. Since 1966, the country has seen a steady 2.2% annual growth in cheese production. In 2021, Tanzania ranked 68th in worldwide cheese production. Iraq overtook them with 16,430 metric tons. Germany, France and Italy were the next three in the ranking, respectively.
