Global cheese consumption is expected to reach 1 billion kilograms by 2026, a 0.2% increase from 2020, driven mainly by increased demand. France, the United Kingdom, and Germany followed in the rankings as numbers two, three, and four. Polish cheese production is projected to reach nearly 800,000 metric tons by 2026, a 0.8% increase from 2021. Since 1966, Polish supply has seen a 1% yearly increase. Russia was number one in 2021 with 755,040 metric tons, while Germany, France and Italy followed as numbers two, three and four.
