This growth is estimated to average 0.7% year on year. Demand rose by 1.7% on average annually over the same period. France, the United Kingdom and Germany ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, Slovene cheese production is forecast to decline by 0.8% annually to 15.0 million metric tons by 2026. This is down from 15.8 million metric tons in 2021. Since 1997, Slovene supply increased at a rate of 0.3% year on year. The nation held the 69th spot in 2021, with Tanzania overtaking it at 15.8 million metric tons. Germany, France and Italy came in second, third and fourth place respectively.
