Cypriot cheese production is on the rise. By 2026, it is expected to reach nearly 27,000 metric tons - up 3.4% on average each year since 1966. In 2021, Armenia overtook Cyprus, putting the country in 63rd place in the ranking with 21,670 metric tons. Germany, France and Italy were the second, third and fourth biggest producers respectively.
