Oman is set to produce 4,740 metric tons of cheese in 2026, a growth of 2.7 percent year on year. Since 1966, Omani cheese production has increased by an average of 1.8 percent each year. In 2021, Kyrgyzstan overtook Oman, producing 4,030 metric tons of cheese and pushing Oman to the 89th spot in the global rankings. Germany, France and Italy rank second, third and fourth, respectively.
