Egyptian cheese production is set to reach 650,000 tonnes by 2026, with an increase of 0.4% year-on-year, according to a new report. Since 1966, the country has seen an average yearly growth of 1.5%. In 2021, Egypt was ranked ninth globally in terms of cheese production, with Poland coming in first with 632,710 tonnes. Germany, France and Italy took second, third and fourth place respectively.
