Hungarian cheese production is expected to reach 126,090 metric tons by 2026, a 1.1% average annual increase from 118,140 metric tons in 2021. Supply of cheese in Hungary has grown by 2.4% year on year since 1966. The country was in 31st place in 2021, while Romania was ahead with 118,140 metric tons. Germany, France and Italy took the second, third and fourth spots, respectively.
