Bulgarian tobacco production plummeted by two-thirds in 2021, compared to the year before. Since 1966, Bulgaria has seen a 41.5% year-on-year drop in supply. Since 2002, the Bulgarian market has been declining at a rate of 2.9% annually. In 2021, Bulgaria was ranked 41st, with Macedonia taking the lead at $45.18 million. Indonesia, the Philippines and Poland filled out the top four.
