Tobacco production in India is projected to reach 876,290 metric tons by 2026, from 824,020 metric tons in 2021, at a CAGR of 1%. Since 1966, Indian supply has increased by 1.6% each year on average. India came in second in 2021, behind China's 824,020 metric tons. India, Brazil and Zimbabwe were placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
