Fuel oil consumption in wholesale and retail trades, hotels and catering services in China rises in 2015

Fuel oil consumption went up by 9.26 percent in comparison to the previous year, updated numbers from China National Statistical Office indicate. The indicator climbed from 17.39 ten thousand metric ton in 2014 to 19 ten thousand metric ton prior year, versus the previous year when it went down by 8.81%. The overall changes for the prior 16 years reached a growth of 63.93%. Moreover, it has shown a 0.15% CAGR during the last 5 years with a overall drop since the 2000. It averaged 15.27 ten thousand metric ton from 2000 to 2015 and it hit its all-time high of 27.52 ten thousand metric ton in 2005 and record low of 6.25 ten thousand metric ton in 2008.
