Import of roses to Cyprus: Drop in 2017

Compared with 2016 cut flower import diminished by 17.42 percent, according to adjusted figures announced by United Nations Statistical Office. The variable declined from 28 890 kilogram to 23 856 kilogram, in contrast to the previous year when it went up by 43.41%. Cyprus saw a decrease of 35.24% in cut flower import during the last 18 years. Besides, it has had a rise at a 0.03% CAGR over the last five years with a negligible overall fall since the start of time series. It averaged 27 085.78 kilogram from 2000 to 2017 and it hit its all-time high of 54 972 kilogram in 2002 and record low of 20 145 kilogram in 2015.
