Cheese consumption in Russia: Raise in 2017

The variable rose slightly by 0.28% in comparison to the previous year, updated figures from U.S. Department of Agriculture highlight. The indicator negligibly climbed from 1 076 thousand tonnes in 2016 to 1 079 thousand tonnes prior year, as it follows the tendency of the previous year when it went up by 2.28%. The overall changes for the prior 30 years attained a raise of 131.05%. Still it has shown a fall at a 0.01% CAGR during the last five years with a negligible overall growth since the start of observations. It averaged 693.03 thousand tonnes from 1988 to 2017 and it reached its all-time high of 1 214 thousand tonnes in 2012 and record low of 243 thousand tonnes in 1999.
